Arooj A Rajput is proud to be a woman. She is a creative professional for visual and performing arts and broadcasting, a peace ambassador, a networking coordinator, a motivational speaker, and an active advocate of human rights and gender equality.

Arooj is the Producer/ Host of Radio Program Zindagi, broadcast from CHIN-100.7-FM & CHIN-91.9-FM, Toronto Canada. Her 3 hour long live program is her campaign for gender equality and world peace. The radio program also focuses on current issues, social issues facing the South Asian Community as well as the community of Canada at large.

She is an interior designer, a poet and an author of book, “APNE SOORAJ PE NAZAR RAKHNA”. She is the President of Creative Initiatives Community Canada, a community social service based registered

NFP. She is the President of Global Peace Seekers registered NFP, a community Services and media based network for Global Peace. She is also a director and manager of Human Necessity Foundation Inc, a registered charity organization providing solar water plants for drinking water for the underprivileged population of Pakistan in remote areas. Arooj is also a coordinator of Toronto Chapter of Women Federation for World Peace.

Arooj has participated in many international conferences, poetry recitals and Art exhibitions worldwide.

Arooj has been bestowed many awards and certificates including “Ambassador for Peace” by Universal Peace Federation and Women's Federation for World Peace for her outstanding contribution to the fulfillment of all ages, promoting universal moral values, strong family life, inter-religious cooperation, sincere efforts towards World Peace in 2016.

 “Leading Women Building Communities 2018" by the Ontario Minister of the Status of Women for exceptional community leadership to improve the lives of girls and women in Ontario and The Oyster Bay Town Board presented Citation in association with Caravan e Fikr o Funn (North America) recognized Urdu Scholar Arooj A Rajput for remarkable efforts and sharing an immense talent and truly making a positive difference in the community and the World in 2019.
